Brigadier General Todd W. Traver, a registered nurse and seasoned military leader, founded Guardian Six Healthcare Solutions after nearly 40 years of service in both military and civilian healthcare leadership.

From his beginnings as an emergency room nurse to commanding medical operations in Afghanistan and serving as Deputy Director of Public Health and Emergency Management, Todd has witnessed firsthand the importance of preparedness, teamwork, and compassion in saving lives.

His guiding belief is simple: when healthcare professionals are supported, communities thrive. Guardian Six Healthcare Solutions was built to provide that support—empowering healthcare and public health organizations to operate with readiness, integrity, and confidence.

“Guardian Six” was Todd’s radio call sign when he commanded the 429th Multifunctional Medical Battalion—a role that carried the responsibility of safeguarding those under his command.
